Coca Cola First Generation Scholarship
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is partnering with the Coca-Cola Foundation to offer five scholarships to university students. Students at HACU member institutions can apply for one of five ($2,500) Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarships to be awarded.
HACU member institutions, such as Hispanic-Serving Institution, Associate Member Institution, Partner Institution, International Member Institution, Hispanic-Serving School District, Education Affiliate, Student Organization Affiliate and Non-Member Hispanic-Serving Institution.

Students Applying for the Coca Cola Scholarship must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be a first-generation college student (defined as a student of Hispanic descent who comes from a family where their parents did not complete a four-year college degree in the United States).
- Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student attending a two- or four-year HACU member institution.
- Open to all courses.
- 2.5 GPA or higher.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Applicants must submit a 500-word essay on their personal motivation to apply for the Coca-Cola Scholarship as a first-generation college student. Fellows must submit a head shot electronically to HACU.
