In order for you to be able to join the United States Naval Academy, you must meet the following criteria:

To meet the requirements to join the US Navy Academy you:
- Must be a United States citizen by July 1 of the year of entry
- Be at least 17 years of age and must not have turned 23 on July 1 of the year of entry
- Applicants must not be married
- You must not be pregnant and you must not have any dependents
- You must have a valid social security number (SSN).
